The Ridge Golf Club

The Ridge (formerly Skyridge) is the newest, coolest restaurant/bar/golf club in Central New York. The Ridge features delicious food, a full bar, and a completely renovated/modernized restaurant/lounge.  And the best part: live music every Friday night!  April 5th will feature Jamie and the wild and crazy guy who got him into guitar as a teen, Mickie Brown (the artist formerly known as Mike Brown)!  It should be a great night of acoustic rock, blues, country and folk, including originals and obscure but classic covers.

Paul Smith's VIC

Enjoy a fun night of skiing by moonlight and tiki torch on the VIC's groomed x-country trails.  Come inside to warm up with a potluck dinner (bring a dish to pass and a place setting), and live music by Celia Evans and Jamie Savage.  This will be an open-mic format, so other musicians and/or poets are welcome to sign up for a spot during the evening.

Tupper Lake Woodsmen's Days

This year's Woodsmen's Field Days will feature live music from Winter Camp, lead by Adirondack musicians Jamie Savage (guitar, banjo, vocals), Rick Kovacs (fiddle, guitar) and Sue Grimm Hanley(accordian, hammered dulcimer, flute and vocals).  Winter Camp will be performing a lively selection of tunes and songs written about, and/or performed during, the hey days of Adirondack logging (1850-1950).  Music typically heard in New England and Canadian logging camps will also featured, as will the stories behind the music.  Winter Camp will perform four family-friendly sets of music at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 14th. Look for us near the food vendors, under a white tent.

Colton Town Gazebo

Jamie and Dave Ruch have been invited to share some Adirondack and traditional songs for the good people in Colton, NY and anyone else who wants to come by!  This is an outdoor concert. Please bring folding chairs or a blanket to sit on.  In the event of rain, the concert will be held down the street at the recreation pavilion.  This event is made possible by a grant from the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.

The biggest St. Patricks Day party in the Adirondacks is at P2s!  Jamie (guitar and vocals) and Rick Kovacs (fiddle) will once again froddle the crowd with their favorite Irish songs and tunes.  Come early for tasty nibbles, drink often (green beer, of course) and stay late.  Jamie promises to share his brand new, P2s-inspired, Irish-Adirondack song, Draw a Pint.  If the stores are empty and the streets deserted on March 17th, it's because everyone's at P2's -- the Place to be in the Adirondacks!!!

SUNY-ESF, the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, celebrates its 100th birthday (1911-2011) with a picnic on the quad.  Faculty, Staff, students and interested guests are welcome to join in the fun.  Jamie will provide live music for the event, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. and again from 2:00-2:30.

Schroon Lake Folk Festival

Two stages, superb location and scenery, nearby beach, arts and crafts, delicious food, and 5 straight hours  of songs, stories, jokes and music. This year, Jamie will co-emcee the event, along with Dan Duggan and Dan Berggren, and he'll team up with Buffalo musician Dave Ruch for his main stage appearance.  Get ready for some sweet Adirondack folk songs, seasoned with a bit of organically-grown humor and some toe-tapping traditional tunes.  Dave and Jamie will feature songs and tunes from Dave's latest CD, The Oldest was Born First, and Jamie's newest, Back to Nature.  Visit the Adirondack Folk Festival website for the complete line-up.  It's going to be another great festival.  Bring a chair or a blanket and stay all day!

Wild Center

Come celebrate the release of Jamie's third and newest CD, Back to Nature!  This multi-media event promises to be a fun-filled and relaxing evening of great music, great friends, and great food.  Special guest stars include Dan Duggan, Dave Ruch, Peggy Lynn, Celia Evans, Jeff Couture and the "Two-Wheeled Hillbilly Outlaw."  Light refreshments and adult beverages, prize giveaways and lots of bad jokes.  Come early to catch up with friends and/or shop the Wild Supply Store.  Doors open at 7 p.m.  Show starts about 7:30 p.m.  Two sets of music with time for socializing and shopping in between.  Hope to see you there! 

Special Note:  although this concert is designed to be more of an "adult" event, well-behaved, intersted children are welcome to attend.  Children 12 and under will be admitted for $10 each.

Jamie has been asked to perform a few songs from his new CD, Back to Nature, including his ode to the Raquette River, Mountain Blood.  Colton is one of the 16 communities located along the mighty Raquette River, New York's second longest river.  There will be several other great acts, entertainment for the whole family.
