This year's Woodsmen's Field Days will feature live music from Winter Camp, lead by Adirondack musicians Jamie Savage (guitar, banjo, vocals), Rick Kovacs (fiddle, guitar) and Sue Grimm Hanley(accordian, hammered dulcimer, flute and vocals). Winter Camp will be performing a lively selection of tunes and songs written about, and/or performed during, the hey days of Adirondack logging (1850-1950). Music typically heard in New England and Canadian logging camps will also featured, as will the stories behind the music. Winter Camp will perform four family-friendly sets of music at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 14th. Look for us near the food vendors, under a white tent.
